RAHS has a wealth of technology to assist our teachers in meeting the needs of the 21st century learners we serve.
Devices in classrooms
All staff have Apple computers, iPad minis and Smartboards to use in their classrooms. There are 16 portable Chromebook labs, two iPad labs and one laptop lab for student use around the school. Each lab has 30 devices. There are two desktop labs along with an Instructional Media Center stocked with desktops and Chromebooks. The Science Department has 14 PCs in each classroom to run the latest scientific software. Each English teacher has a permanent set of 25 Chromebooks in his or her classroom as well.
Additional capabilities schoolwide
There is Wi-Fi throughout the school for use by students, staff and the public. The commons has a 16- by 20-foot, drop-down screen, an eight-speaker sound system and four projectors to display information like daily announcements, Twitter and social media information and YouTube videos during lunch periods.
