The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Career Exploration Program is a military enlistment test that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors who are interested in the military and/or those seeking to learn more about their career interests and aptitudes may take this exam. Visit the official ASVAB website for more information. Typically, the ASVAB is offered once during first semester at RAHS. Interested students may also speak to their local military recruiters for information about other opportunities to take the ASVAB test. - 24-25 RAHS ASVAB Test:
- Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 8 a.m. at RAHS (classroom 213)
- Preregister online here: ASVAB Test Registration Form for RAHS 24-25 (or sign up in the RAHS Counseling Office)
- The registration deadline is Wednesday, November 6th at 3:15 p.m.
- Registration is limited to current RAHS students in grades 10, 11 and 12.
- Limited spaces are available. Registration is first come, first serve.
- The test is typically offered once every fall in late October through mid-December at RAHS.
- Students in grades 10-12 are eligible to take this exam.
- Students will receive an emailed online registration form,
- Or, students may register in the RAHS Counseling office.
- The exam takes approximately 3 hours.
- Format: paper and pencil

- Test results: Several weeks after the test, a school counselor or ASVAB representative will offer Post-Test Interpretation (PTI) to students at school. The Counseling Office will notify students in advance of this presentation, including the date, time and location.
