Transcript Requests for Individuals from the Class of 2012 to Present Seniors
Reedsburg Area High School uses a vendor called Parchment (formerly known as Docufide) for students to process requests and send official transcripts to colleges, universities, technical schools, military personnel, scholarship selection committees, employers, etc.
- This service requires that all students create an account and submit requests through www.parchment.com.
- The Parchment electronic transcript service is only available to seniors and graduates since 2012.
- All other former students and current RAHS freshmen, sophomores and juniors who need official transcripts should contact RAHS Counseling directly by calling (608) 768-8928 ext. 1158 or emailing RAHScounseling@rsd.k12.wi.us.
- Current enrolled RAHS students in grades 9-12 and their parents/guardians may view unofficial transcripts when logged into their Skyward Family Access accounts. PDF copies of the unofficial transcripts are viewable on the "Portfolio" page and are updated after semester final grades are posted in February and June.
- No phone or email requests for official transcripts will be accepted.
- Requests should be made well in advance to ensure adequate processing and timely delivery. Allow at least 24-48 hours for processing of your request; allow additional time during weekends, holidays and summer months.
- Parchment Transaction Fee Change: The standard transaction fee for academic credentials will increase from $3.75 to $4.15 on April 5, 2021. (posted 2/9/2021)
- Students will need a credit card to process the transaction.
- Students have the option of viewing their unofficial transcripts for free on Parchment. After semester grades are posted, students' free unofficial transcripts views are not automatically updated. Regardless of which transcript version is seen in a student's "unofficial self view," the most recent official transcripts will be sent for any order requests.
- Current students who feel they may qualify for fee waivers must contact a school counselor prior to submitting their order requests.
- To avoid processing errors and delays, it is important that only one Parchment account is created and that student information is entered correctly, i.e. name spelling, graduation year, birthdate, login email address and password, etc.
- A parent or guardian may create a Parchment account on behalf of his/her minor student; however, once he/she turns 18, the student will need to have access to the Parchment account login and password information. Again, the student's transcript may only be attached to one account!
- When a Parchment account is created, use a non-school email address that you will remember and will continue to have future access. It is recommended that the student use a personal email account versus a shared family email address.
- It is very important to remember your Parchment account login email and password.
- School District of Reedsburg students must NOT use their school email addresses when creating their Parchment accounts! Not only are student email accounts deactivated shortly after graduation, but students are also not able to receive notifications from Parchment to their school email accounts in the event of a forgotten password, etc.
- New in the Summer of 2016: Add additional email addresses and merge accounts on Parchment.
- TIP: If a student or alumnus is having difficulty viewing or using Parchment, please log onto the account using a different internet browser.
