The School District of Reedsburg elementary school-wide behavior plan is a tool to help ensure consistent and clear behavioral expectations for all of our elementary school students and staff. This plan has been implemented throughout the school environment. We hope that this plan will help you to better understand the school and our behavioral expectations for the elementary students in the School District of Reedsburg.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or your school's office.

Pineview Paws Program
At Pineview, we also use the Pineview Paws Program to teach and reinforce appropriate school behavior.
Behavior Passports encourage good behavior on the part of our students. During the first weeks of school, students learn about our expected appropriate behavior through the use of the behavior passports booklets. Each page includes expectations of a given “area” of our school. When a student models the correct behavior, he or she receives an official Pineview Paw Stamp on the appropriate passport page. In order to fill a passport, a student needs three stamps on each page, which shows the behavior has been modeled correctly three separate times. Students with a completed passport are invited to our passport party.
When the students’ passports are filled, we then transition to our school-wide Compliment Card program. Through this program, staff recognizes positive student behavior by issuing Compliment Cards. Each Compliment Card lists the student’s name, the positive behavior observed and the official Pineview Paw stamp. When a student receives a Compliment Card, his or her name is entered in a contest. Every Friday afternoon, 15 cards are drawn for prizes. All cards, both winning and non-winning, are added to the Compliment Boulevard Wall of Fame (a hallway located between our art and music room).
At the end of each school year, Compliment Cards are removed from the Boulevard and returned to students as a keepsake and reminder of the great behaviors they exhibited throughout the year.
